The Law Society aims to provide members with all-rounded experience, including social and educational experience. The Society strives to guarantee opportunities for members to establish network as part of the university experience and to build a career in law. The Society values diversity and inclusion as reflected by our D&I events, and are also committed to giving back to the community and working with charities.

 

Notably, the Society is dedicated to enhancing the employability of its members. The Society regularly host exclusive networking events with leading employers in the legal field, as well as workshops such as CV writing and interview skills. The Society works closely with leading international law firms, including Latham & Watkins, Freshfields, Allen & Overy, Linklaters, and many more.

 

The Law Society holds a variety of events, from mooting competitions to networking dinners, from bi-weekly socials to the Annual Spring Law Ball, The Law Society has everything you need to fulfil your experience as a student at Cardiff University.
